Client Service Accounting Analyst
Location: Myrtle Beach, SC, or Denver, CO
Hours: Full time employment, but hours need to be between 9-5 mountain time zone or 11-7 eastern time zone.

Job Summary:
The Junior Accountant & Client Administrator at Sovereign Family Office plays a critical support role in managing and evaluating client data, utilizing financial technology, and providing administrative and accounting assistance for high-net-worth families. This role blends back-office precision with front-line responsiveness to help ensure timely, accurate, and well-organized financial deliverables for clients with complex assets and entity structures.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Deliverables & Data Management
- Support the preparation and delivery of financial planning materials by gathering, organizing, and maintaining client data related to complex assets across multiple entities, including:
- Business and personal financial reports
- Asset management reports
- Cash flow projections
- Tax strategy documentation
- Whole-picture wealth planning materials
- Assist with onboarding clients into new wealth management software platforms, ensuring data accuracy and completeness throughout setup.
Internal Bookkeeping & Entity Administration
- Perform internal bookkeeping tasks including data entry, account reconciliation, and report preparation.
- Support the ongoing maintenance and compliance needs of client-owned LLCs and other entities, including tracking deadlines, filings, and documentation.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners (e.g. tax professionals, legal advisors) to ensure accuracy and timeliness of entity-related tasks.
Client Administrative Support
- Act as a backup resource for inbound client service requests, ensuring timely response and coordination for financial tasks, document requests, and general inquiries.
- Update and monitor internal task boards to ensure visibility of progress on client deliverables, planning milestones, and pending action items.
- Help maintain a high standard of care and consistency across all client-facing work.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting OR equivalent experience in tax or bookkeeping field
- Working experience with Excel, QuickBooks, or other accounting software
- Experience with design software (powerpoint, canva or figma) preferred
- Working knowledge of financial reporting frameworks, tax preparation framework
- Familiarity with wealth management and financial planning concepts a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion
